1890's Men Man Tug-O-War Fox River Photo green Lumbar Pillow

An exceedingly rare image of men engaged in the sport of Tug of War or Tug-O-War circa 1890’s. These Edwardian men were enjoying a day on the banks of the beautiful Fox River near Elgin Illinois over one hundred and twenty five years ago. This image is a scan of an original glass negative in my collection. The image is in soft focus. I have tinted it a sepia tone and will be adding more colours in the future. This item would be a perfect gift for the Tugger in your life. The man on the far right is muddled as there was damage to the original negative. it is now simply rustic and aged.
