I'm the VERY lucky recipient of several editions of Godey's Lady's Book, which I found - believe it or not - in Goodwill. This print came from one of the 1858 issues. Thus and therefore, this is a marvellous notebook for anyone interested in Victorian fashion and/or historical fashion and/or cool notebooks. Note that the print appears on both the front and back covers, in mirror image. Which is nice. Note also that my shop has HUNDREDS of items graced with Victorian prints. Wanna see more old? This journal came in within a week of ordering it and I was thrilled! I love roses so I love having this journal. The size is perfect. Small enough to throw in a bag. The printing is clear. The pages are nice and thick. The binding is sturdy. The printing is a little darker than the photo on screen but that is expected with printing. It looks luxurious to me. I love deep red roses.
