【いけだむかいちょう】蝶紋／鴨方（かもがた）池田家の定紋：寛文十二年（１６７２）光政が隠居して、長男綱政が家を継ぐと同時に、弟の政言（まさとき）に新開拓分二万五千石を与えて、豊中（岡山県）鴨方に支封を発足させた。定紋「向い蝶」（「池田向かい蝶」）、替え紋「三つ竜胆」。（高橋賢一著「大名家の家紋」）／「対（むか）い」二つが対い合う形です。真向いの紋と区別するため、対という字を当てる習慣になっています。（泡坂妻夫著「家紋の話」）
