【ばいか】梅紋。この呼称は紋之泉によった。なお、紋典・江戸紋章集は「梅」、平安紋鑑・紋の志をり・紋章大集成・日本の紋章・紋章集成は「梅の花」としている。／作図にあたっては、泡坂妻夫著「卍の魔力、巴の呪力」にある梅鉢の作図例を参考にした。つまり、この図案は紋帖の梅花紋をトレースしたものでなく、紋割り方に則って、すなわち、梅花は正五角形を基本とする図形であるので、円を十割にすることから始める、紋章上絵師の伝統的な作図手法に則って作図(2013/6/23)したものである。

Just received my aprons that are gifts doe good friends and I am impressed by the quality of print, the fabric and build of the aprons. The pocket at the bottom of the apron which is 24" lengthwise will be quite useful.
