【ておけ】 渡辺守綱は本名よりも"槍の半蔵"の異名で知られてた。永禄五年（1562年）三河の八幡合戦で殿（しんがり）をつとめ、槍一本で数十人の味方の命を救ったという。つねに家康の身辺につき、半蔵の金の手桶の指物を見て、家康の岡山着陣まちがいなしと、関ヶ原の敵物見（斥候）が報じたというエピソードを残した。"手桶"は初期には家紋としても見られた（高橋賢一著「大名家の家紋」）この図案は同書を参考に作図(2015.5.10)した。家紋は他に、三つ星一文字、渡辺扇、夕顔に月。
