この図案と呼称は「平安紋鑑」によった。なお、「紋典」の大日輪宝は細部において差異がある。／福井万次郎著「定紋の研究」では、呼称を”春日輪鋒”とし、「春日輪鋒」は武蔵の出にて藤原朝臣姓春日家の紋」と記している。
