【八曜に月】月星紋。
呼称は、「平安紋鑑」「紋典」によったが、文献によっては「三日月九曜」「月に八曜」とも。
ちなみに、家紋の大家である沼田頼輔氏の著書「日本紋章学」には星の数違いではあるが、同類のパターンで「十曜」という家紋が紹介されており、そこには「月と九個の星より成るものはこれを十曜と呼ぶ」と規定されていることから、これを「月と八個の星より成るものはこれを九曜とする」と読み替えて「三日月九曜」という考え方もある。”三日月九曜”の記述は「姓氏紋章お国めぐり 東国編」（丹羽基二著P56)にもある。
