【さんわつる】鶴紋。「紋典」は”三つ鶴”としている。／紋章化されたのは丹頂鶴。高雅なスタイルの丹頂鶴には、仙人が乗り飛翔する古伝説が、中国・日本にあった。「・・鶴という鳥は、木梢もおおかるに、この千年の枝になれて・・（四季物語）」と松の枝と鶴の対比が描写され、松・竹を蓬来山に見立てた島台に、長寿延命のシンボル亀とともに飾られる。（伊藤幸作編「日本の紋章」）
