When first learning about meditation, some teachers suggest that we create our sacred space in our minds as a place to go and be by yourself or meet up with messengers that are also sometimes referred to as our spirit guides. Your sacred space can be anything you can conjure up in your mind. You can take bits and pieces of your most precious memories and build with them a place that will become familiar over time. One reason behind this is to have a comfortable space to feel safe enough to enter a deep meditation. The most important reason is to be able to get to that deep meditation faster just through the repetition aspect of getting that far each time This also is a great idea for those who have little time to let your mind float into the infinite. By reaching deep relaxation quicker you can fit it into your busy life with a much larger benefit to you, body,mind and spirit. Hope you enjoy a view into my interpretation of such a sacred space
