Bobs are hand-painted peg dolls, inspired by Betty's husband whose bravery and generosity is something story books are made of. What is a Betty? Bettys are peg doll tributes to a wonderful school teacher who taught in a impoverished inner city school and made the children in her care feel safe, loved and important. A little note about this special teacher is tucked in with every Betty. Our hope is that this hand painted peg doll will continue Betty's legacy of making of smiles and Bobs legacy of patriotism. A portion of the profits from every Bob and Betty sold is donated to a struggling inner city school.
