In Australia, Santas have been warned against using the term .. ho ..because it could be seen as derogatory to women! The world of political correctness has come after Father Christmas’ traditional laugh. It all started this week when the U.S.-based firm Westaff asked Santa trainees in Sydney to stop saying “Ho, Ho, Ho” and start saying “Ha, Ha, Ha” instead. One disgruntled Santa told reporters the recruitment firm warned him that “Ho, Ho, Ho” could “frighten children.” And, the Santa said the firm told him it could be offensive to women because “Ho” is a U.S. slang term for a street girl.
