Wow-- this is one healthy bear!
The stance is a bit intimidating, as if asking the photographer: What are YOU doing here? The colors of the rocks and the scattered yellow wildflowers all add up to one terrific card. i added 5 stars. Just when I think I've gone through your gallery and admired everything, up pops another wonderful photo.

Thanks for the rating. I was on a busy trail with twenty other people watching this bear turn rocks over and eat moths. We were 100 yards away...my photo equipment allows for this type of safety and respect. The bear would look up at hikers going by every once in awhile and I would take a picture. Later in the day we watched this beautiful bear chase elk in a meadow at speeds over 30 miles per hour.
