On our products we've written "ガンバレ、ニッポン！” (GANBARE NIPPON!). "Ganbare" is a Japanese expression that can be loosely translated as "Do your best!" or "Hang in there". We hope that everyone around the world will encourage the people of Japan with our message "Ganbare, Nippon!"

TANUKI is like a raccoon native to East Asia and Russia. According to legend in Japan, they are said to be able to transform themselves into other forms.
"BUN-BUKU chagama (tea kettle)" is a very well known Japanese folk tale, where a Tanuki transforms himself into a tea kettle to repay the kindness of a man who helped him escape from a trap.
