The Pendleton Cowgirl Collection documents an era of women’s history (1910-1930) when local and circuit-riding cowgirls gathered throughout the country to compete in rodeo. Among them were trick riders, wild steer riders, high jumpers, bulldoggers, steer ropers, bronc riders, Roman racers, flat racers, trick ropers, and relay racers.
