Faerie Poster/Print: Fairy Fellers' Master Stroke by Aquavel
This is a reproduction of the painting "Fairy Fellers' Master Stroke," made by the Victorian artist Richard Dadd, a gifted artist. His paintings of fairies are rich and complex. Unfortunately for Dadd, he went mad when he was 27 years old and killed his father. He spent the rest of his life in an Institution, where he was urged to paint. This phenomenal painting, "The Fairy Fellers' Master Stroke," was completed at that time. This painting took Dadd over 9 years to create. This painting was also the inspiration for a hit song by Queen.
