Eye of Horus - Magnet by dchaddad
Horus the Egyptian falcon god is often associated with the ‘Eye of Horus'; a symbol that is prominent throughout Egypt even until modern times. This symbol was found on the mummy of King Tutankhamen.

The falcon-headed god, the kings of Egypt associated themselves with Horus. Horus was among the most important gods of Egypt, particularly because the Pharaoh was supposed to be his earthly embodiment. Kings would eventually take the name of Horus as one of their own.

Horus - Sun God: Horus was said to be the sky, he was considered to also contain the sun and moon. It was said that the sun was his right eye and the moon his left and that they traversed the sky when he, a falcon, flew across it. Thus he became known as Harmerty - Horus of two eyes.

Horus – War God: Horus was also said to be a war god and a hunter's god, since he was associated with the falcon; thus he became a symbol of majesty and power as well as the model of the pharaohs. The Pharaohs were said to be Horus in human form.

This is a great symbol to give someone as a gift!
Since this is a symbol the ancient Egyptians used to protect people, in life as well as when they were mummies, I am picturing it to be perfect for a fridge magnet so one can be protected. Or maybe as a travel gift if one is going to go somewhere for a lengthy time.
