I've talked to so many people who literally brag about how much they waste... One bumper sticker here on Zazzle says "My Jeep is using what your hybrid is saving!" and the description says, "send a message to hybrid users! Buy a Jeep!" I don't understand that mindset. I grew up with a bin for our aluminum, and when we were able, we recycled glass and plastic as well. It's not all that much more work to throw the cans in one bin and the trash in the other, and by doing so, you ensure that there will be resources for you to enjoy tomorrow.
