Store Description
Hi, this is Shawn from Designs by Shawn.
Before you read about this 'store' I wanted to pass along that I have lost someone very important to me. My girlfriend, who inspired me to create this store many years ago passed away in March of 2012.
She inspired me to create my first store on another site. She had one and saw that I had something of an eye or talent for it and encouraged me to do so. In that time I moved from that other site to Zazzle where I call this store home.
She was incredibly inspirational to me from her many interests and talents and love for life. She encouraged me to create things on and offline, to explore new ideas and even saw me through the passing of my father a few years previous as well as dealing with her own life.
If you like (or love) any of my designs, she is partially responsible for that.
As announced in March, I am currently creating new designs to which I hope you all love. In my girlfriends honour, I will be making things that she would have made and include a few of her interests in my store. I briefly thought about closing this down but I believe she would want me to continue creating and sharing my art and vision.
To 'K', I miss and love you so very much and will always remember and cherish you, our time together and the many ways you enriched my life.
