This chubby little character is Ruben the Robin. He's a Robin Red Breast with his big, rouund orange red tummy. A great character for Christmas time and a super tie for office parties! An old folk tale says that when Jesus was dying on the cross, a Robin, then simply brown in colour, flew down and sang to him in order to comfort him during his pain. The blood from Jesus wounds stained the Robin's breast, and thereafter all Robins got the mark of Christ's blood upon their breast.
