The Cuban Parakeet, Conure De Cuba, or Aratinga Cubana (Aratinga euops) is a species of parrot in the Psittacidae family. In Cuba it is commonly known as catey. It is endemic to the island of Cuba. It became extinct on the Isla de Pinos south of Cuba soon after 1900. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, dry savanna, and arable land. It is threatened by habitat loss.-----------------Guaruba guarouba, formerly classified as Aratinga guarouba, is also known as the Golden Parakeet or the Queen of Bavaria Conure. It is a type of conure, and is covered in bright yellow plumage, hence the name, but also possesses green wing coverts and flight feathers.It lives in the drier, upland rainforests of Brazil, and is threatened by deforestation and flooding.
