It wasn't that long ago that the term "credit crunch" was first coined, and yet it's been said so many times now that it's hard to remember a time before it was first uttered. Like many ubiquitous phrases, it doesn't bear much examination. Why "crunch" exactly? The first thing that sprung to our designer's creative mind was that it sounded like the brief for a breakfast cereal, so that's what we have here.
