We had decided to just drive down some side roads for no particular reason, and this was one of those scenes that made me say, "Turn around immediately." The colors were so incredibly clear that it looked like a fake movie backdrop.

You're right, Diana -- the weather was perfect.
The sky was blindingly blue and there were such wispy threads of clouds. You can see some of those thin clouds on both sides of the church.
