Atheist not only hate God, they want to regulate and empower more government. They want to control more aspects of our lives. The Christian religion is where seperation of church and state comes from. Jesus knew full well of Roman occupation and slavery and all the criticisms allied to the Bible, his essence was to accept and forgive and love. Not to hate and overthrow and devour. Atheists want a revolution, Christians want to be left alone, in peace & prosperity. There are fanactics to be sure, but look at the whole of Christian built nations, Western Europe, America, there are no religious governments. And remember, the worst of it, the Inquisition, came off 700 years of Islamic occupation & enslavement of Spainish people, and in 300 years of the Inquisition, about 3000 in total were killed. Many were in allegiance with their former Islamic Masters. Compare that to the massacres and genocides brought on by Atheist Communism. Which is in the hundreds of MILLIONS, in modern history.
