Farmers' Markets across North America pride themselves with having at their market freshly picked home grown vegetables. At the Brockville Farmers' Market in Brockville Ontario Canada is no exception. Seen here is one of their vendor's stands who sells all kinds of vegetables in season. At this stand in early September you can find beautiful carrots which when boiled in water and covered with real butter and a little salt will melt in your mouth. Carrots freshly pulled from the ground, brushing the dirt off and washing them off with a hose. That's how I remember eating these beautiful root plants. They have a real taste - not like those things that come in plastic bags found on the vegetable racks of grocery stores. J.S. Lor
