Borneo's head hunters used to get tattooed as a passage to manhood, and to mark every important step in the life of a man. Particular tattoos were used as a protection, and the Borneo rosettes were often tattooed on the front of the shoulders like in this tee to give strength to the arms and protect during fightings.
