Democratic Congressman Barney Frank is the infamous Chairman of House Financial Services Committee who was supposed to oversee the mortgage industry, including Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. He was directly responsible for the mortgage meltdown of 2007-2009 because he refused to regulate this corrupt industry which was making insane amounts of money by lending money and creating crazy mortgages to people who could least afford them. When these individauls naturally defaulted, the whole house of cards fell down, dragging the rest of the economy with it. Barney Frank should be thrown out on his ear because of his gross incompetence and stupidity, if not jailed for singlehandedly destroying the conomy. So what do the genius Massachusetts voters do? They re-elect him! Since he comes from a State that has elected and re-elected a drunken sot like Ted Kennedy and an incredibly dull and undecided politician like John Kerry, this should come as no surprise to anyone.
