This image is from the Art Nouveau created by illustrator Louis Rhead in 1894. Louis Rhead (1857-1926) was an artist, illustrator and writer. Born in England, he immigrated to the U.S.A. at the age of 24. Along with his poster art and illustrations for a number of prominent magazines, he also illustrated a number of children's books, incvluding Robin Hood, The Swiss Family Robinson, Robinson Crusoe, The Deerslayer, Treasure Island, Kidnapped and Heidi.
