After the Storm - Letterhead #2 by bontondesigns
On September 13, 2008, hurricane Ike made landfall near Galveston Texas. By 1:00 PM it had weakened to a tropical storm, by by then it had already wreaked havoc as a category 1 hurricane on nearly half the state of Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi and parts of Oklahoma and Arkansas. The devastation was horrendous, and many people still have not recovered from that night of terror. But all storms do end. This photo, taken just as the storm's fury finally passed over Livingston Texas, is of the following morning's sunrise through the heavy mist typical of the aftermath of a gulf coast hurricane. A new morning of quiet beauty after the darkest night many of us had ever known. While the base image is 'locked', all text is a template object and can easily be changed or deleted. Please feel free to customize and add photos, text or sentiments of your choice. It's fun! This striking image is available on many other products here at Bon Tonne Designs.
