This began as an experiment with putting grass blades on an interesting object, but grew into this surreal, peaceful scene. Many thanks to people on the povray.binaries.images newsgroup, who's suggestions helped me build this image. The picture was rendered in povray, modelled and textured entirely in pov's source code. This final render took 16 days 20 hours on a 550MHz P3 machine.
